About TrueClaim
Healthcare benefits represent the second largest budget item in companies. While large corporations have internal resources and leverage to customize their plans, the 2M self-insured companies with <1,000 employees struggle to keep up. Healthcare costs are projected to grow by another 8% in 2025. Once again, employers will have to choose between increasing their expenditures, passing these extra costs onto their employees, or worsening benefits.
TrueClaim is a transparent, AI-enabled third party administrator for self-insured companies. TrueClaim uses healthcare data and technology to enable benefits teams to offer better benefits at a lower cost. Our AI-enabled engine adjudicates and continuously reviews 100% of medical expenditures to save over 7% of healthcare costs. The savings can be as high as 20-30% when our benefits design suggestions are implemented. Our ultimate goal is to save 1.5% of GDP.
We are backed by Y Combinator and other world-class investors, have over 3 years of runway and a stellar founding team. We launched our first customer 2 months ahead of schedule.
About The Role
You will be tasked with solving a wide range of zero to one problems in areas that are new to TrueClaim. If you are crushing it in your role, we can “drop” a challenging situation on you and you will not only turn it into a success but also make sure that the next time around the same situation is an easy task. Even better if you can use no/low-code tools to automate workflows.
What We Think You Might Do
Logistics
This is an in-person role in San Francisco and we hope you’d be willing to travel once a month. We offer competitive benefits (medical, vision, dental) and unlimited PTO. We are intense and very structured but believe in pacing ourselves so we can make this our - and your - life’s work.
